I Can’t Smell Anything

Do you leave your warmer on 24/7?

Think about it! If you let your wax melts burn twenty-four hours: then you need to keep reading this post.

If you belong to the class of people who love a well-scented space all the time and you will notice that the scent is not as strong as the first burn or even subsequent burns.

You could even say that even while burning a fresh fragrance, the scent potency is not as strong as when your first experience, then you have probably become NOSE BLIND.

According to Healthline.com: Nose blindness is a temporary, naturally occurring adaptation of your body that can lead to an inability to detect or distinguish familiar scents in your surroundings. It is sometimes also referred to as olfactory fatigue or olfactory adaptation.

Nose blindness is often associated with areas where we spend a lot of time.

Notice you can’t smell your favorite perfume while others do have a break from melting for a day or so (sounds weird, right!) go for a walk, change location or smell coffee.

Then go back to melting after a short while; this would give your olfactory bulb time to reset.

Always try to keep your burner away from the direct air, like a vent, fan, air-conditioner, windows, etc.

All our wax melts are 100% natural soy wax and hence free of chemicals and toxins.
